Fees and Refunds

This information applies to the CPP30619 Certificate III in Investigative Services. It is also in the ASSI Student Handbook.

Fees

Stage 1 (online units): $900, paid on enrolment

Stage 2 (practical assessments): $695, paid when you are ready to start the practical assessments

Recognition of Prior Learning: $895

Replacement documents: $25

ASSI does not collect more than $1,500 in advance for training and assessment that has not yet been delivered.

Full refund

• If ASSI cancels the course or cannot deliver the training you paid for
• If you withdraw in writing within 7 days of enrolment and have not logged in to the student interface or received posted materials

Partial refund

• If you withdraw in writing after that, a refund may be given for any stage you have paid for but not started, less an administration fee of $100
• If you have started a stage, a pro-rata refund may be considered for units you have not started, less the cost of materials sent to you

Special circumstances

If serious illness, injury, family emergency or similar circumstances stop you from continuing, you can apply for a refund, credit or deferral with supporting evidence. Each application is considered fairly.

How to apply

Email amy.fourie@trainingschool.com.au with your name, the course and the reason for your request. The Training Director will give you a written decision within 14 days, and any approved refund is paid within 14 days of approval. If you disagree with the decision, you can use our complaints process.

Please note

• Being refused a licence by a regulator is not, on its own, grounds for a refund, because licensing decisions are made by the regulator
• Nothing in this policy removes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
